G8X M Car Development Projects

Here’s a sneak peak into some exciting development projects in the works for the G8X M cars -- two of our solutions partners, DME Tuning and Ohlins, are in the R&D phase on these development projects; both aiming to deliver some incredible new solutions.

DME Tuning, AUTOcouture Motoring’s in-house tuning solutions partner, is globally renowned as one of the world’s most prestigious engine software brands. They are developing and testing new engine tuning software in their brand new Alpine White over Kylami Orange M4 Competition. They turned to ONEighty NYC for the satin black wrap which is iconic to the DME Tuning brand. In addition to the satin black wrap, they also painted the calipers orange to match the stunning Kylami Orange interior. 

The DME Tuning M4 Competition has been prepped for the track with a StudioRSR Tesseract half cage in satin black, installed for both road racing and to test their products in development at track speed. They are also testing the new TTX coilovers by our friends at Ohlins. 

The Ohlins TTX coilovers are being developed off of AUTOcouture Motoring’s very own Brooklyn Grey G80. While it was torn down over the winter, Ohlins was the recipient of our stock suspension components that they used for the suspension development of their new TTX system for the G8X platform. We are thrilled to be working with Ohlins on these new G8X products.
