Factory to Fabulous // Toronto Red BMW G80 M3
Nothing beats taking an already killer factory car to the next level, and with the recent upgrades to this BMW G80 M3, we at AUTOcouture Motoring, got to do just that. This build not only allowed us to optimize the performance of the car, but it allowed us to go from factory to custom with just a few touches. From wheels to the suspension, the new additions to this impressive machine give an all around sleeker look and have the owner driving around in style, just in time for summer.
We started by adding the Racing Sport Concepts 2021 G80 M3 G82 M4 Side Skirts, allowing for the perfect blend between the body lines and the skirts. Made of carbon fiber, these skirts required no additional modification, attaching to the already existing factory hardware with ease.
Not everyone has the luxury of driving a racecar but with the installation of the Vorsteiner Aero BMW G80 M3/G82 M4 Front Grill and Vorsteiner Aero BMW G80 M3/G82 M4 Front Spoiler, owners can take a step in the right direction. Taking design cues from the M4 GT3 race car, this grille allows for increased front airflow, giving the ultimate race car look and feel.
For better steering performance and to set the drop just right, we installed a KW Suspension G80 M3/G82 M4 Height Adjustable Spring (HAS) Kit, which can be added to the factory Electronic Damping Control (EDC) system and allows adjustment to height of this BMW G80 M3.
This build comes fully dressed with the Burger Tuning JB4 with the Wireless Smart Phone Kit - getting drivers one step closer to their race car dreams. Adding in the tuner improves the time it takes to go from 0 to 60 mph, and the perfect launch can be achieved through the mobile app. With the app, the driver can record and analyze vehicle performance data and update the firmware as new versions are released.
Adding to the increased performance of this BMW G80 M3, BMS Elite Intakes add up to 17+ horsepower, improving overall throttle response and increasing the beautiful sound of the spooling turbos!
We also opted for a CSF High Performance Front Mount Heat Exchanger to help protect against the common BMW problem of serious heat issues under certain conditions. Constructed of 100% aluminum, this feature offers full protection of the heat exchanger. It reduces the intake air temperature significantly by improving airflow to the rest of the cooling system, and maximizes performance of the vehicle while also maintaining its sleek aesthetic. Similar to the side skirts, installing this front mount heat exchanger requires absolutely no modifications.
The finishing touches to this custom build include a set of Goldwrench Blackline Performance Engine Cap Cover Set in Motorsport Blue and a custom painted IND engine cover, which is painted in Toronto Red to match the exterior of this G80 M3. Topped off with a set of Titan 7 T-S5 Wheels in custom Brushed Clear finish and Future Classic BMW 5x112 Wheel Spacer Kit providing durability, strength, and rigidity while also maintaining its lightweight structure. Given the forged motorsport design of these wheels, this addition continues to build on the race inspired look and feel of this build.
This is a prime example of how exquisite a BMW G80 M3 can look and perform with some select performance modifications.
