The MMX Performance F8X High-Capacity Baffled Differential Sump (MMR55-1000) is engineered for the BMW F87 M2 and M2 Competition, F80 M3, and F82 / F83 M4. Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the sump replaces the factory differential pan while increasing differential oil capacity by up to 2 liters and incorporating an internal windage tray and additional cooling surface area for improved lubrication and thermal management under sustained load.

The internal windage tray is designed to maintain consistent gear and pinion lubrication during acceleration, braking, and cornering while reducing unnecessary oil churn and component drag. Internal and external cooling fins increase surface area to help dissipate heat from the differential oil during repeated high-load street or track use.

An integrated -8AN port, supplied with an M22 to -8AN adapter, also provides a connection point for an external differential oil cooling system. The extra-wide internal windage tray is designed to accommodate Drexler and other F8X mechanical limited-slip differentials without the internal trimming required when using the factory differential sump.

The billet differential sump installs directly to the factory mounting points without permanent modification and can be combined with the MMX F8X Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1001) and MMX Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle (MMR55-1604) as part of a complete F8X differential mounting and cooling system.
