The OEM inlets exhibit a reduction in diameter immediately downstream of the intake connection, which can restrict airflow, particularly at elevated boost pressures. Our carbon fiber inlets address this restriction by maintaining a consistent, larger cross-sectional area and therefore there is a larger captured volume of air directly in front of the turbos. Furthermore, the curvature of the inlets has been optimized to minimize flow resistance, promoting smoother airflow to the turbochargers. Made from prepreg carbon fiber with CNC machined flanges, the inlets also provide an aesthetic improvement to the engine bay.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBenefits of the inlets are apparent with tuned vehicles where the boost pressure is higher and therefore the flow demand form the turbos is greater. Where the stock tubes narrow down immediately after the connection to the intakes, our tubes maintain a larger diameter and the reduction to the stock turbos is achieved with an internal radius on the machined flanges. This allows for larger volume whilst maintaining a smooth flow path.
