Background
The S58 engine have a water-to-air charge cooler paired with a heat exchanger (water radiator) in the front of the car. This radiator cool the water flowing through the charge air cooler, the water dissipate heat from the charge air before it enters the engine.

Owners of tuned S58 engines often encounter the problem of rapid Heat-Soak in the charge air cooling system, especially during track driving. High intake temperatures can cause the ECU to reduce power output, or even put the car into limp mode. Our Solution
The custom do88 radiator design began with a total overhaul, prioritizing durability and performance. By eliminating plastic components in favor of sturdy aluminum for the end tanks, the core, and CNC-machined ports, and ensuring everything is TIG-welded, our cooler provides durability and long-term performance. The introduction of a Quad pass design improves cooling, with the coolant passing through the cooler's core four times for maximum efficiency.
But do88's goal extends beyond just durability. By increasing the core volume by 39% and the external tube area by 9%, while simultaneously integrating a Quad pass flow for the coolant, the do88 cooler go beyond the original. This results in improved cooling capacity, thereby enhancing your car's performance.
Installation
The do88 cooler is designed to be easily mounted with your BMW's factory components. It comes with custom rock guards to protect against debris. Our cooler fits both cars with automatic or manual transmissions, making it a versatile upgrade for all G8X M2/M3/M4 models.
