do88 Performance for your automotive cooling solutions
Many of our customers are already familiar with do88 Performance products, however, we know that many are not, so we thought it was time to share more on the S55 and S65 do88 Performance products with our amazing followers.
Sweden based do88 Performance, has been designing and manufacturing their line of automotive cooling products since 2007. They are one of, if not the largest distributor of silicone hoses in the northern hemisphere. The brand boasts over 170 silicone hose kits, model adapted intercoolers, oil coolers, radiators, plastic connections, aluminum piping, high quality stainless hose clamps, heat protection, air filters and more. All of which are developed by their in-house R&D team.

Every do88 product has been built to the exact specifications of each car make and model, so that it achieves an almost perfect fitment and comes with all the necessary parts for assembly.
Let’s take a look at some of the do88 products that we carry in-house at AUTOcouture Motoring.
First up for S55, is the do88 Performance Intercooler for BMW F8X M2C/ M3/ M4. do88 started with the goal of developing a new performance intercooler designed to eliminate the OEM intercooler's weakness, and offer a great performance increase. During testing of this product, do88 saw clearly how the peak power is directly equated with the IAT (Intake Air Temperature). do88 has utilized a massive core, 85% larger than the OEM and created a 16% decrease in the charge air pressure drop, while still maintaining a drop-in installation. Decreasing the charge pressure drop over the intercooler has several benefits, such as; less pressure on the turbos to achieve target boost, lower temperature and improved throttle response. Talk about an increase in power for your vehicle with the higher airflow, less back pressure and better cooling!
Also available for S55 is the do88 BMW F8X M2C/ M3/ M4 Intercooler J-Pipe. These J-Pipes offer a solution to the OEM plastic pipes that often crack and leak, leaving you with a serious boost leak. Most aftermarket J-pipes on the market are made of bent pipes, cut and welded in several pieces to achieve the shape. The do88 J-pipe is a super durable casting, which improves the airflow. It has a free-form shape with the same diameter all the way to the throttle body which is impossible to achieve with a mandrel bent pipe. The do88 J-pipe also features two methanol injection connections (1/8-27 NPT) which are blanked off with plugs.
For our S65 enthusiasts, we offer a selection of do88 Performance products, including; the do88 BMW M3 E9X DCT Cooler, Oil Cooler, Coolant Hoses and Aluminum Radiator. These products were developed with the experienced driver in mind. Demanding nothing but the best! The entire do88 line is suitable for track racing, endurance racing, track days or spirited street usage, where there is no room for compromise.
The do88 BMW E9X M3 Oil Cooler is one of the products that has taken the most man hours in the history of do88 to develop. This R&D work is clearly shown in the beautiful fitment, finish and performance.
The do88 Hose Kit was developed to replace the OEM radiator/cooling system hoses, which are made of rubber and deteriorate and crack with age. Made entirely of high quality silicone for the best finish and durability and constructed of three to five layers of reinforcement, the hoses withstand high pressure rates and high temperatures for extended periods of time.
Solutions are continuously provided by do88, with the DCT Cooler providing a lasting solution for the ascending liquid temperatures often found in E9X vehicles. With this product, do88 has created a 217% larger core volume, 178% greater active cooling area, and 110% larger volume, in comparison to the OEM part. Providing greater core volume and a larger active cooling area bringing those ascending liquid temperatures down by 18%. This is where you will see vastly enhanced performance!
Last, but certainly not least, of the AUTOcouture do88 line, is the E9X M3 S65 Aluminum Radiator.
